Where Wolves on the Web?
By Gian Trotta
Although they exist precariously in the wild, Canis lupis is thriving on the Web.
Timothy Brogan's Desert Moon Wolf Page leads the pack, giving stirring images and links to history, folklore, organizations, scholarly studies and information on adopting wolf hybrids;
Eric Fierke's Lair of the Wolf also deserves a howl of approval. Even if you don't agree that "Wolves were exterminated from the U.S in response to fairy tales" (the real story is more sober), the The Darkened Den is worth a visit; the author of Tracy's Caern not only links to wolves, but believes she is a werewolf.
